About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team and support multiple

eCommerce initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability

of Shopify-based solutions, middleware integrations, backend services, and third-party

applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing Shopify environments and is

comfortable validating complex workflows across integrated systems. This is an excellent

with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform manual testing of Shopify eCommerce websites and related applications.

● Validate functionality across Shopify storefronts, admin features, and customer

workflows.

● Test middleware integrations between Shopify and external systems.

● Conduct backend testing, including API validation, database verification, and data

integrity checks.

● Test integrations with third-party portals, applications, and external services.

● Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.

● Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using project management tools such

as Jira.

● Perform regression, smoke, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing

(UAT) as required.

● Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to

resolve issues efficiently.

● Verify bug fixes and ensure production readiness before releases.

● Assist with release validation and post-deployment testing.

Required Qualifications

● 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

● Hands-on experience testing Shopify eCommerce platforms.

● Strong understanding of Shopify storefronts, checkout flows, products, collections,

orders, and customer management.

● Experience testing middleware integrations between Shopify and other systems.

● Experience with backend testing, including REST APIs and data validation.

● Experience testing third-party applications, portals, and integrations.

● Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

● Experience writing clear and comprehensive bug reports and test documentation.

● Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

● Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote

environment.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

● Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.

● Experience using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.

● Knowledge of browser developer tools for troubleshooting.

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

● Exposure to test automation tools is a plus.
