About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Planning & Procurement Associate to support our growing operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely sourcing of raw materials, managing procurement activities, negotiating supplier pricing, coordinating shipments, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.


The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory planning, purchasing, supplier management, and logistics, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily operational check-ins.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Source raw materials and identify reliable suppliers based on quality, pricing, and lead times.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, tracking deliveries and resolving shipping issues as needed.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with operations, production, and finance teams to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Track inventory movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements to purchasing and replenishment strategies.
  • Assist in resolving supply chain disruptions and material shortages.
  • Prepare procurement and inventory reports for management.
  • Participate in daily operational check-ins to provide updates on procurement, inventory status, and supplier activities.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procurement best practices.
  • Experience sourcing raw materials and managing supplier relationships.
  • Proven experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and purchasing terms.
  • Experience coordinating shipments and working with logistics providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in manufacturing, consumer products, retail, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP, inventory management, or procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Experience managing international suppliers and import/export logistics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills for inventory analysis and reporting.
